This is an ornament of which I have two on my tree. These were given to Alli and Ang by Aunt Melissa. They were bought at Bronners and the writing reads "TWINS are twice as nice".
The girls were born in October and that first Christmas was especially hard. Angelina was in the hospital from October until late February. Allison came home on Christmas night, after spending exactly two months in the hospital. It didn't even feel like we had twins until about March or April. And it was especially nice for Melissa to give something so sentimental to them, all while Ang was on life support and not doing well. This ornament reminds me that the girls were loved so much even when they were in the hospital and just itty bitty babes fighting to make their way home.
