Free Ice Cream

What brings out the weirdos in the neighborhood? Free ice cream!! Last night at the social there were a few that stuck out in my mind.

One was babushka lady. A little senior citizen wearing her house coat and a babushka. She sat next to one of the PTC members, ate her ice cream and then started trolling through the garbages for returnables. I knew she was an imposter when she came up and politely asked if there was a limit on the number of ice creams she could have. There was and so she walked away empty handed and alone. No little kids with her. I fully believe she was just some random lady who didn't have any connection to the school and stopped by when she saw all the people milling about.

Now onto field day tomorrow. After that there will only be a few activites next week and we will be wrapped up for the year!!
